Selecting a Container:
The “Scan or Enter Number” screen is the default in Container Filling 2. The search bar at the top is used to select a container for viewing and other actions. The on-screen keyboard or attached keyboard may be used to search for a full or partial container number, or a connected barcode scanner may be used to directly enter the number.
The search bar may also be used to access the status screen for Bulk products and container equipment.
Detailed explanations of the current screen may be found by clicking the help () button in the top right corner of the screen. A few items to make note of include:
- Action Buttons: These buttons allow the operator to take actions such as printing a label, selling, or filling the container.
- Empty Weight: The weight of the container itself. This is used during scaling to calculate the product contained.
- Maximum volume: Required to use Container Filling 2 to fill a container. This tracks the limit of what this container can hold.
- Passed inspection: Required to use Container Filing 2 to fill a container. Containers that did not pass their last inspection may not be filled.
- Last inspected: A container that has not been inspected in the last inspection interval (configurable) may not be filled.
- Product: Containers are configured for storing a single bulk product. This field is required for filling. Changing the product on a container will set “Mark as cleaned out” to no until an operator toggles it.
- Net Weight: The last scaled weight of the container inventory. This amount will be used when the container is sold to fill an order, or during filling to top off the container to its capacity.
- Seal Number: A record of the last seal number assigned.
- Refillable: Required to use Container Filling 2 to fill a container.
To save changes and return to the search screen, click the “Ok” button.
To discard changes, if any, click the “Back” button.
Note: Action buttons may apply changes.
