After updating to Self Serve 2 version 2.23.5 or later, a one-time prompt must be answered by a facility manager.
Applies to
- Self Serve 2 Version 2.23.5 and later
Due to contamination concerns that can occur, Self Serve 2 has added features that prevent order cancellation when doing so would skip flush/rinse and purge operations. As part of this update, there is a one-time prompt (shown above) that a facility manager MUST respond to before Self Serve 2 will open.
When the prompt “Do you want to require a facility manager's approval to cancel a load?” is displayed, the operator has three options. Selecting the first option, “Exit Application”, will quit out of Self Serve 2 with no changes. This allows the operator to respond at later time, as the prompt will still be required before Self Serve 2 may be used.
The other two options require logging into a Terminal Management TMX account that has the “Application Configuration” permission set. Once these credentials are entered, that facility manager may then select either “Yes” or “No”.
- “Yes” will enable the “Require a facility manager to approve canceling a load that may result in contamination” features. When enabled, Self Serve 2 will prevent the canceling of any load when doing so may result in contamination due to skipped flush/rinse or purge settings unless a facility manager provides approval to do so.
- “No” will disable the “Require a facility manager to approve cancelling a load that may result in contamination” features. Self Serve 2 will not require a facility manager to approve canceling any order even if there may be contamination concerns that result from doing so.
The “Require a facility manager to approve cancelling a load that may result in contamination” features may later be enabled or disabled from the configuration menu of Self Serve 2, under the “General” tab. Changing this setting requires the approval a facility manager and will be logged. The configuration option is shown in the screenshot above.
