Installation Instructions for “Constellation Connector for TMX”

The following is a set of instructions for installing the "Constellation Connector for TMX" software. This software is necessary for a site to send and receive information to and from Constellation.

Note: The Constellation Connector requires Windows 10 or above. If the Terminal Management TMX machine is not currently running Windows 10 or above, contact Kahler Automation Service Department for assistance and next steps. 

  1. On the server machine that is running TMX, download the latest bundled Installer for the "Constellation Connector for TMX" from the Kahler Automation Revision History webpage:

  2. Once the download is complete, open the downloads folder, and right click on the "ConstellationConnectorForTMX.exe" file and select "Run as administrator"
  3. In the dialog box that appears, click on “Yes” to give permission to make changes to your device.
  4. The installer will automatically start to install prerequisites. This may take some time depending on your internet connection. Once installing prerequisites as finished, it will automatically progress to the next step.
  5. In the Setup Wizard that opens, click "Next".
  6. On the "Select Installation" Address screen, click "Next".
  7. On the "Confirm Installation" screen, click "Next".
  8. Once the installation has completed, on the "Installation Complete" screen, click "Close".
  9. In a web browser, navigate to 
    http://<SERVER-IP>/ConstellationConnectorForTmx/. From this page, you can begin registering Owners with Sites in Constellation.
