Transports may be assigned to a selection of sites. Synchronized transports are created in Terminal Management TMX and include a name, number, max weight, and compartment capacity configuration.
When a transport is assigned to a site, loadout software is able to use the transport for staging and ticketing.
Creating a Transport
Create a transport by opening the Transport page and clicking “Create Transport”. Fill in information for the transport and click “Create and Assign”. Select the sites where the transport record will be used and then click “Assign”. The change synchronizes out to all assigned sites and becomes available for use when staging or dispensing orders.
Note: Transport names must be unique. Transport numbers, if used, must also be unique.
Once a transport has been created in Constellation and synchronized out to all configured sites, loadout software can specify the transport when staging or dispensing orders. Constellation is able to report transport usage when transports are used as well.
