- Ensure that the server machine is powered on.
- Verify network connection between the loadout and server machines.
- Restart devices.
- Increase the connection timeout setting
Adjusting the connection timeout setting
Increasing the connection timeout setting can be helpful on some systems. This can be done by using the Config Creator tool included with Self Serve 2 since version 2.23.6. To access the The Config Creator tool:
Caution: Changes made with the Config Creator tool can potentially prevent a Self Serve 2 machine from accessing the database. For assistance, contact Kahler Automation Support.
- Exit Self Serve 2
- Open a file explorer to "C:\Kaco\SelfServe2\"
- Run "ConfigCreator.exe"
- Enable the "Command timeout"
- Set the "Command Timeout" value
- Click "Save"
- Reopen the Self Serve 2 application
