There are no printer settings found for the printer
Plant Supervisor PSX may create a warning when a printer it is configured to use cannot be found.
Applies to:
- Plant Supervisor PSX
Common Causes:
- Replacing Printers
When printers are replaced on a site, Plant Supervisor PSX should be updated with the new printer setup. If Plant Supervisor PSX finds it is configured for a printer no longer available to the computer it is installed on, a warning message like the one shown above will be displayed.
To correct the printer setup, open the Configuration menu by clicking on the wrench icon () in the top right corner of Plant Supervisor PSX and selecting the Printing tab.
From the Printing tab, find the invalid printer and set its copy count to “0”. Then set the new printer to the desired number of copies.
If the new printer is not listed, first ensure it is set up in Windows and then restart Plant Supervisor PSX.
The printer may be listed under a specific bay, so check there if a warning message is still occurring.
