Self Serve 2 - Print Margins

Printers can fail to report correct margins to software. Self Serve 2 offers a configuration option for setting required margins when a printer fails to do so.

Self Serve 2’s printing configuration includes a tab for setting margins for each installed printer. When printing, Self Serve 2 will utilize the maximum of the configured margin, and the printer’s reported margins.

To correct the printer setup, open the Configuration menu by clicking the wrench icon  () in the top right corner of Self Serve 2, then select the Printing tab, followed by the Margins sub-tab.

Set the margin by clicking on the desired printer and then setting the Left, Right, Top, and Bottom margins as needed. A value of 0.25 is often enough in most cases.

Click “Close” to save the change.
