Recommended VNC Applications

VNC is used to provide remote access to some devices on sites.

Applies to:

Sites that may need access to HMI screens or computers from another machine on-site.

Mobile Devices:

For mobile devices, both Android and iOS, Kahler Automation suggests using the RealVNC App. The RealVNC App can be found on most devices’ app stores (“Google Play” for Android, “App Store” for iOS).

Windows Devices

For Windows devices, Kahler Automation suggests using UltraVNC. UltraVNC can be downloaded from https://uvnc.com/.

Kahler Automation is not involved with either RealVNC or UltraVNC; this article is intended only to suggest software we have had success using.
