LOADPASS Glossary

LOADPASS® is the go-to solution for agricultural businesses looking to optimize logistics, improve communication, and enhance operational efficiency for loading and unloading bulk products. Terms defined here are specific to LOADPASS.

Administrator – A LOADPASS user with access to configure a site. Access to the administrative section of LOADPASS requires an administrator’s email to be added to the site and an account to be created. The Administrative pages are accessed from https:\\LOADPASS.kahlerautomation.com\admin

Blend Order – Two or more products that will be mixed and dispensed into a transport.

Bulk Orders – Orders where a single product is dispensed into a transport without mixing.

Driver – Drivers use LOADPASS to stage orders, access a facility, and receive directions in order to pick or deliver product(s).

Facility Access – LOADPASS grants drivers access to facilities as needed to fill an order. If a driver is at the correct location they can scan at gates and/or doors to enter.

Operator – Facility employees responsible for dispensing LOADPASS staged orders. Operators do not require Administrator access for their day-to-day responsibilities, instead using Plant Supervisor PSX, Staged Order Viewer, and Terminal Management TMX to receive information on current orders.

Receiving Order – Orders that track product arriving at a site. LOADPASS configuration can either scale a truck into and out of a facility, or drivers can manually enter the amount delivered. Requires a purchase order in Terminal Management TMX.

Scanner – Physical devices installed on a facility. LOADPASS connects to scanner devices over the network from a server machine. Drivers scan their device at a scanner to interact with LOADPASS on-site.

Scanner Roles – Scanners take on one of several roles based on their LOADPASS connector configuration. Roles include gate access, scale automation, location verification, door control, and loadout.

Self Serve 2 – System designed to allow drivers to operate a facility 24/7. Self Serve 2 integrates with LOADPASS to let drivers select an order for loadout to their transport by scanning at a connected scanner.

Server – LOADPASS requires the use of connector software installed on a Terminal Management TMX machine to act as the facility’s local server. The connector handles synchronization with LOADPASS, site configuration, and related tasks.

Staged Order – Once a driver has finalized their order prior to arriving on-site, the order is considered staged. Prior to this the order must exist in Terminal Management TMX and be synced to LOADPASS. Once the order has dispensed, it is no longer staged.

VRT/Do Not Blend Orders – Orders to be dispensed into two or more transport compartments with a different blend or product in each compartment.
