Is there a way to put a customer on credit hold to keep them from getting a load or order?
Although there is no "Credit Hold" feature, there is a workaround that will disable a customer account and block any orders from being loaded for the customer.
Last Updated: 6/29/2021
Environment/Applies to
- Terminal Management TMX (TMX)
Solution Summary
-
In TMX, click the Customer menu item. The Customer tab opens by default.
-
Locate the "Disabled" box, then place a tic in the box.
-
Write a note in the "Note" field, such as Credit Hold.
The result of this action will prevent a load from being dispensed through Plant Supervisor PSX (PSX). Instead, a screen will pop up which reads "...this account has been disabled..." Operators will have to pull up the customer account in Terminal Management to see why the account is disabled.
