Getting a prompt in Plant Supervisor that our old printer cannot be found

When orders print we keep getting a prompt that the old, no longer used, printer cannot be found. How do we get rid of the prompt?

Common Cause(s)

Old printer is still configured to print copies 

Environment/Applies to

  • Plant Supervisor 4 (PS4) version 4.18 

Solution 

  1. In Plant Supervisor, click on the wrench icon (top right) to open settings.
  2. Select/highlight the old printer (wherever you see it in a PS4 list).
  3. Change the number of copies to 0.
  4. Close the Wrench, then reopen to confirm the copy number stays at 0.
