FLEXCOMMAND changes a lot. Here are some key improvements.

Interface

FLEXCOMMAND uses Windows-based HMI software to replace the PanelView screens used in 4000 and 5000 series systems. Physical panels are eliminated, simplifying the process of installing, maintaining, and updating systems. Operators have better visibility and control over system operations in one place.

Product Settings

FLEXCOMMAND eliminates KA-2000 controllers and moves many product settings into the FLEXCOMMAND interface, eliminating panels by integrating function. Operators still assign bulk products to panels using Terminal Management TMX, but all other settings are in FLEXCOMMAND.

Diagnostics

Error messages are clearer due to tighter integration and updated panels, and can now be communicated through Plant Supervisor PSX.

What has not changed

Systems can still operate manually as needed.
