Dry System Web Service Configuration

KA-2000 based dry systems can be configured to display the product assignment.

Applies to

  • 2850PS
  • 2870PS

To improve usability of required configuration screens of KA-2000 controllers, a web service option may be included. When configured, web service reads bulk product assignments from Terminal Management TMX to be shown alongside product configuration.

Web service may be labeled “Integrations” on some KA-2000 controller firmware versions, as shown above.

Notice: Web service configuration is normally done as part of site commissioning. Changes may be required if network IP assignments change. Kahler Automation Support department can assist with required changes.

To access the KA-2000 configuration webpage (if not already bookmarked or accessible via a custom link) start by opening Terminal Management TMX to the Panels section, and select the panel for the weigh hopper. Next, click the "Configure” link next to the IP address. A new tab will open to the KA-2000 configuration page.

On the left side, click the web service link (labeled “Integrations” in this example). Enter the IP of the Terminal Management TMX machine in the IP Address field and click Save.

Note: Web service configuration requires the IP of the Terminal Management TMX server. Host names are not an option. Find this on the Terminal Management TMX server machine. Check with IT if uncertain on how to find it or to verify the IP is static.

Verify web service configuration works by opening the product configuration pages and check that product names are populated. Bookmark the page for easy navigation.
