Some load-out software may use custom load questions to gather information before and after loading. Customer load questions are configured in Terminal Management TMX but can be displayed in Plant Supervisor PSX and Self Serve 2.
Adding Custom Load Questions
Navigate to Terminal Management > Facilities > Custom Load Questions.
Select the desired bay from the drop-down boxes and whether the question is for pre- or post-loadout. Next, click on the plus button.
Name: This is the question's name and is a required field.
Post load: This checkbox indicates whether the question is asked after loading (checked) or before loading (not checked).
Prompt text: This is the wording the user sees when prompted with the question.
Type: This will be the type of question that will be asked.
- Yes/no - Prompts the user with a yes-or-no question.
- Text - Prompts the user to enter an alphanumeric value.
- List - Presents the user with a list of options.
- Custom - Allows a URL's configuration to prompt a custom question.
- Owner: Allows the selection of an owner to whom this question is limited.
In this example, we will use the Text type. The type “Text” has been selected, which provides two additional fields: the minimum and maximum number of characters required/allowed for a valid input.
Press the Save button to save your custom load question.
Note: The loadout software must enable prompting for Custom Load Questions. See Enabling Custom Load Questions (for Plant Supervisor PSX) and Enabling Custom Load Questions (for Self Serve 2).
