Constellation Users

Adding and managing Constellation users, including permission profiles and access levels.

Constellation users are personnel that have visibility across all of a company's connected sites. Each user is assigned one of two default permission profiles: Admin or Standard User. The Admin profile includes the ability to add and remove other users, register sites, rename sites, set the order completion percentage, and configure API access. The Standard User profile includes access to all operational and navigation pages.

Constellation administrator users can access the Users page available to them in the Settings section found by clicking the username in the top right corner of Constellation. Non-administrator users do not have any visibility to this section.

Adding Users

Constellation admin users can add new users from the Users page by clicking "Add User", then entering the e-mail address the new user will use to log into Constellation. A permission profile, Admin or Standard User, is selected for the new user at this time.

An existing user's permission profile can be changed the same way from the Users page when editing their account.

Once added, a user that does not already have an account should go to https://constellation.kahlerautomation.com and create an account  by clicking the "Sign up now" link on the login page and using the email address entered before follow the directions to create a verify their account.

Tip: Users will receive an email when they have been added to the company. New user emails will come form DONOTREPLY@kahlerautomation.com.

Note: If a user is added to more than one company, they can switch between them by clicking their username in the top right and selecting another available company from the list.

Note: Users can be added or removed form Connector Error Emails on the Emails page.
