Constellation - Emails

Constellation includes an email service that can send tickets automatically after dispensement.

Tickets can automatically be emailed to customers, branches, drivers, carriers, and applicators as configured when a ticket is dispensed. To receive an email each entity must have an email on record, and the email service must be enabled.

Configuration of the email service is only available to Constellation users with Administrator privileges. Constellation administrator users can access the Emails page available to them in the Settings section, found by clicking the username in the top right corner of Constellation. Non-administrator users have no visibility to this section.

All companies have a monthly limit of 6,000 emails, which resets on the first of each month. Usage can be monitored from the Email Service page or on the Constellation dashboard page using a widget. The dashboard widget is available to all users of Constellation, not just administrators.

Usage Limits

Monthly email usage falls into three categories based on the number of emails sent:

  • Green - usage is in the range of 0-6,000 emails (0-100%)
  • Yellow - usage is in the range of 6,001-8,999 emails (101-150%)
  • Red - usage is 9000+.
