Constellation Connector Name Collision
Name collision is a type of error that can be encountered with Constellation. Name collision occurs when Constellation is prevented from creating a record in Terminal Management TMX due to an existing record for the connected Constellation owner or a record marked as all owners.
Name collisions can be resolved by either renaming the existing record, setting the record to use a different owner and not all owners, or allowing Constellation to take over the record.
Orders may also resolve name collisions by closing and archiving the previous order.
Taking over a record keeps usage history tied to the product going forward and is preferable for records such as products or recipes.
