Carriers

Carriers may be assigned to a selection of sites. Carriers are used to record if a carrier company was used to deliver a ticket for a customer.

When a carrier is assigned to a site, loadout software has the option to record the carrier used for staging and ticketing.

Creating a Carrier

Create a carrier by opening the carrier page and clicking “Create Carrier”. Fill in information for the carrier and click “Create and Assign”. Select the sites where the carrier record will be used and then click “Assign”. The change synchronizes out to all assigned sites and becomes available for use when staging or dispensing orders.

Note: Carrier names must be unique. Carrier numbers, if used, must also be unique.

Once a carrier has been created in Constellation and synchronized out to all configured sites, loadout software can specify the carrier when staging or dispensing orders. Constellation is able to report carrier usage when carriers are used as well.
