Adjusting A Purge Regulator
Air purge regulators control the pressure of air used to purge a line between products or at the end of an order. Normal air purge operation should use pressures between 20 PSI and 30 PSI. Exact pressure required will depend on the system.
1. Unlock the regulator by pulling up on the adjustment knob
2. Slowly turn it.
- Clockwise to increase the pressure
- Counter Clockwise to decrease the pressure
Ideal setting will be just enough pressure to clear the pipes, without being set high enough that the bubble created blows past the product.
3. Press down on the adjustment knob to lock the setting.
4. Test the system by running an order.
